Hamilton Operatic is calling for YOU to step into the limelight and express your interest in joining our board! 

We're on the lookout for individuals who bring diverse perspectives and can play a crucial role bringing the experience of Musical Theatre to the Waikato.

We're especially keen on people with ties to the wider community, a flair for previous governance endeavours, a knack for strategic planning, an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and a touch of mātauranga Māori. If you've got financial skills that can hit the right note, consider this your cue to shine on our stage!

Responsibilities:

• Work with other board members to maintain oversight of society’s strategic plan and contribute to developing this when required.

• Contribute to the effective governance of Hamilton Operatic Society.

• Represent Hamilton Operatic Society positively in the wider community.

Commitment required: 

One two-hour board meeting each month plus equivalent preparation time, and being prepared to contribute to governance decisions via email, zoom or in face-to-face sessions.. 

There is an expectation for occasional attendance at other creative activities in the community.
